Birthdays..ready or not here they come!

Yesterday was my birthday. For my birthday I decided I was going to

go shopping and get  myself some much needed summer cloths…so

what did I come home with, zilch! I tried on cloths for my b-day!!

Didn’t find a blasted thang that I just had to have, that sang to me,

that looked myself in the mirror and said “Daaaaaaaaaaaaang, girl

you look hot!”  My mirror self saw none of that, so me and hubby

went to Mias for lunch, yum got me some Mexican tamale, beans

and rice, and loads of chips and salsa for my b-day, them some good

beans now!! Mom came, our oldest punk showed up, it was a good

day.

Came home pigged out on cupcakes, which I love cupcakes! And

made some homemade fried chicken strips for supper. Yum

Today is our sweet youngest baby poo-pot luv punkins sugar babies birthday. He is 9, time goes way to fast.

Seems like yesterday I was screaming my head off in a delivery room, now I find myself screaming at a now 9 yrs to pick up his stinky socks! Not that we scream cause we don’t, he is a good kid normally just ask and he does it..he is sensitive, if he gets hollered at he cries, full blown alligator tears.

He is having a buddy ( Seth B.) come over to stay the night. So they are going to P-A-R-T-Y!! He says they are going to stay up all night…says the one who is normally ready to go to bed by 8:30 pm!!

He requested me to make him a New York cheesecake for his b-day, which of course I did. He also has requested BBQ hamburgers, corn on cob, and green beans for his b-day dinner, which he shall have..it is his b-day after all!!  

They love their b-days around here, they get whatever desert there heart desires, and what ever they want for dinner! They love that they get to choose their food for the day!!

b-day gifts: 4-wheeler, helmet, cloths,( no socks though who does that!! :O) money-gota love that!!

Now let me tell ya, you smash these boys together and we have a goggle of “cool beans” going on!

Planning a summer BBQ hangin’ out kind of fun party..hmm how many to invite??

Looks like its gona rain..today that is, not for the BBQ party, that would be totally forbidden!!

P.s. you lurkers that come here on occasion, in comments just saying HI ( yes I’m talking to YOU, yea YOU) (pointing my finger even though you cant see me I am, and I was taught not to point even though I do sometimes, and I tell my kids not to do it and yep they do to at times,but I don't recommend it) would tickle my fancy!! It would be fun to know what kind of folks are reading about our daily adventuress life…HA well ok maybe its not daily but on occasion we feel adventuress..like a BBQ party with a yard full of party hardy adults and screaming kids!! Wana come?

Just today..

Just today in Anatomy class we dissected a kidney..let me just say..if you have never done this, the smell is unthinkable!! You have never smelt urine until you have dissected a kidney!!

Let me just add if you are one of the people who eat those things…(which I am not) you wouldn’t no more!! LOL

I don’t have a pic to gross you out with, but I do have a pic of a heart that we dissected a month ago…however it is on my cell phone and I feel lazy so I’m not going to post it..

But I do have pics of my guys riding their 4-wheelers which were their B-day presents…and I love posting pretty pictures, not those gross juicy wet pics..although the boys have been going mudding in the pasture..but yet again I was lazy so I didnt get pics of that either!! So instead you have to look at these squeaky clean pics!

Oh and here we are at our violin concert on Saturday!! What fun! Here is Bailey the one who has the stars floating over his head!!

Bailey and I also have violin today, concert this Saturday to get ready for

pudding for brains…

I’m tired..tired of studying, but must keep going…college is pushing all the basic info clean out of my brain, I promise.

I can’t remember the simplest stuff, like Bailey had a dentist app today I couldn’t remember if they were pulling more baby teeth or just a cleaning.(ps it was a tooth being pulled) ouch) There just is not room up there for everything..so I guess stuff has to go! LOL  

I can ask Jimmy something that I really do want to know “like, what he is doing today”  I will forget and have to come back and ask again after studying for a bit..it just gets pushed straight out my ears I swear it does..I promise I am listening when someone , anyone speaks to me…my processor just is not big enough ..anyone  know how to do upgrades? My tires need rotated or my oil needs changed or my computer needs tweaked…..something

Hurry May…………I long for the day you get here……..

Spring is here..the sound of 4-wheelers out in the garage being tweeked!! I wana go play..(sniff sniff) but I gota study!! Darn over achiever that I am!!

How I long to complain about it being  too hot outside!!

8 going on 9

Our youngest is soon to turn nine on the tenth of April. Born day after my birthday, and born on my dads birthday. The sweet, beautiful boy who almost wasn’t. This one is a great gift straight from God.

He would like something with a motor on it for his birthday. He is not expecting such a thing though because he knows it scares the spit clean out of me. And he is a momma pleaser so he does not ask for one, though he has asked for something like a little razor scooter thing that goes at a snails pace…

Me trying to not be a total party pooper, though he is not aware of it…his daddy right this minute is out looking a “his size” 4-wheeler for him. Yep it still scares the spit right out of me, but Jimmy just called me and told me he found one that has the screw in it for setting the speed, so he can still move at a snails pace!! LOL

We have a big ol’ pasture  that would make a great spot for the boys to ride. Boys…which would mean when the other has his birthday in May  he is gona have to have one too!! (There goes the rest of my spit!!) Is there a medic in the house!!???

He once had something with a motor on it…which is were it all started. We had gotten him one of those Big Wheel 4-wheelers ages ago for his 3rd birthday. And it was the greatest thing since sliced bread!! He has rode that thing up until just this winter when it has finally met its doom.

I personally  thought about chasing the trash truck down the road as he carried away the little sad, one wheel hangin’ off, the plastic battery operated 4-wheeler….that one early cold spring almost made me go swimming in our very deep and cold pond to retrieve it as Bailey sat on the edge of the levy screaming as his 4-wheeler floated across the pond!! Yes I said floated!! Thank God for that. I really didn’t want to get in the pond to go on a rescue mission!! Thank goodness for our blustery spring days!! It sailed right to the other side of land!     Safe, with smiles all around!

Spring Break

The Easter flowers are in bloom,the trees are budding. Such a beautiful day out today!

Just some tidbits:

Today Bailey and I start our violin lessons, its gona be fun.

Took the camper to the repair shop to get it all loobed, on the way ran over some big screw thing, so then had to have a tired repaired on the truck at the same time!!

Boys signed up for baseball, hmm was it yesterday or day before? ( one of the side effects of college, have trouble remembering the little things) LOL

My jaw is sore, I have been clenching my teeth at night due to stress, its getting better though

This semester is half over, it goes so fast!

I have been working on trying to fit everything in, as in just sitting down and reading a “real” book, not a text book, which I love and the violin lesson with Bailey will  be great.    I am so excited that he has taken a interest in something that can be so rewarding.

Justus came by yesterday seen him for the first time since Thanksgiving..

Boys got out of school at noon today, report card time

Hard..this one word fits so much…

Yesterday was not a good day. Baileys hamster died that he has had for 3 yrs. He was a Christmas gift.

But the ironic thing is that just 2 days before that my husband and I decided to get him and Tyler a guinea pig…just because,

we like to roll like that

Is that a coincidence, I would like to think not. 

They were tickled, and Cocoa that is the new name of his guinea pig, has done a good job.

College..hard..if it wasn’t wouldn’t everybody do it?

My brain is tired , I have a test this week and the next…did I say my brain was tired…

I don’t know what has gotten into me lately, but I have this mood come over me at times where I want to close out my Facebook account!! Why?     I totally love getting on there, and yet I get in moods to ditch that account..Hmm is there a psychiatrist in the house?…

I think its college and pets dying…its..HARD!

Flashback to 2008

Let it snow,let it snow, let it snow…..this was the first “nice” snow of 2008. I remember it well!! 

The boys had been out planning in the snow, sledding down the hill. Tyler had come running into the house, I would have thought his pants were on fire the way he came running. It turned out that Bailey had taken his gloves off while they were out sledding, and Bailey was crying  outside and would not move.

So me being the awesome mama that I am ;)  I ran out to see what was going on, and sure enough there Bay stood in the snow holding his hands in the air in a full out what I term an “ugly cry”!!  Between the sobs he tells me his hands hurt really bad, (they are beet red}!!  Very beet red!! He was still small then, I could pick him up and carry him, throw him over my shoulder like a sack of tators!! I picked up tator and carried him to the house where I wrapped him all up in a blanket and held him, like my sweet sack of tators that he is!!!  Then comes warm…cozy….nap!!

To the current, snow is on the weather menu for tonight!!!  So snow would equal= no school, cold kids, hot chocolate, and lets not forget mopping snow=water out of the floor off and on all day!!! Oh lets not forget wet socks!! Bliss

This is my little dog, named Sara, who as you can see,… has issues.

1. This is the response I received when I told her she needed a bath, that she was smelling like a dog!! (I wouldn’t know why she would smell like a dog)

2. She is addicted to Milk Bone Breath Busters….(lucky for me) even though she totally denies this addiction!! (as she's chewing)

3. This dog winks!! Yes I said winks….she will stare at you and when you look at her she will wink…..totally freaks us out!

4. She loves to ride in the truck, but before I let her get in she has to “go potty” and if she doesn't have to go she gives a “courtesy pee”, she is so thoughtful!

5. She is a “nuggler” ….aka snuggler. (Hmm my spell check says this is not a word, my spell check does not live in my world.) PS..she is glued to my hip now as I type, however she is not happy cause she doesn't like my lap top…she thinks that is her spot!!

6. She also helps clean house!! She loves to “vacuum” under the dinner table when the boys are eating, again, she is so thoughtful!!!

7. She also threw up under my bed once..and came out with her tail tucked…she felt so bad for messing up my carpet…(just keepin’ it real people) 

8. She is my fur baby girl…….in a house ruled by testosterone!!!!!!!!!

A Few words from Bailey….

I want to go ride horses and i am go with my grandpa  to the movies then go out to eat. This is going to be fun!

Hmm its a New Year, and yet I woke this morning with ice still on our pond!! Darn I hoped  New Year..winter **be gone**!!

I’m not a resolution kind of gal, I’m too…spontaneous… yea lets call it spontaneous!!

My New Years Eve was spent watching Food Networks Next Big Star. It was one of those marathon ones that was on, and you find yourself totally transfixed and obsessed, that who knows what one of the kids came and asked me if they could have or do something last night and I agreed to it!! (can I eat this stick of butter?) (can I have a 4 wheeler?) 

Some of those shows are evil I say, pure evil!! And Food Network sure is because you just cant watch  that station without throwing something down your pie hole!

So I had to make a trip to the store for some junk food! Whoppers, Milk Duds, Chex Mix, and Nutter Butters, mixed all together united in one big happy marriage!! Yum Yum, some sweet some salty we were all happy!! Except Tyler who does not like Whoppers…he is just not right, but hay, gota love him!!

So how was your New Year spent? Please let me live like a ROCK STAR through you!!

Oh, what fun it is to take ….photos all all day!!!

I can whiz through an entire day just sitting behind my camera, (shh..and a bit of photoshop) !!! But don't tell anybody, I tell my hubby I have scrubbed house like a dog all day! And those dirty dishes in the sink are just an illusion, you can not see those!! ***waving magic wand***

Counting today I have blown a whole day sitting on the couch playing with Photoshop and watching the 600 Young & the Restlesses on the DVR!! What a great day!!

I am going to have to check my hubbys computer, I seem to have some photos missing from when we went camping with some of our buds this summer. I can just hear them screaming to come and play!!

Woohoo!! Today is Friday! As soon as the boys get out of school we are heading out!! Holiday Rooaaaddd!!!

Now that I have packed half the house for 4 peeps. I do believe we are ready, other than having to wait on that little thing called time!

Bailey is 8 yrs, so the last time we went anywhere he was like 3. So he has been full of those funny kid  questions….

Bay---is there a bathroom in the hotel room, or will I have to walk through the hotel to go?

Ol’ wise one----yes sweetie there is a bathroom in the room..

Bay---good otherwise you would have to go with me…

Bay---they have an indoor pool!!! cool!!!  can we go swimming in the middle of the night???

Ol’ wise one---no dear we will be sleeping…

Bay---can we have $500 to spend??

Ol’ wise one---hmm let me think a minute…NO!!

A mothers psychotic episode...hidden...

As I was cutting my baby's (8 yrs old) hair tonight I looked at him... ya know was "really" looking at him. He is getting so big...how did this happen?

He wanted his hair cut like really, really short, like a haircut that I would refer to as "oops I made a mistake kind of short" so we HAD to cut it really short, kind of short. But I made no mistake other than cutting his hair the way he wanted it...which I DO NOT like..but hay its just hair is my motto and if you make a big deal about it he just may decided that he totally loves it and want to keep it that short:0

So I do a little reverse psychology and say oh that looks good..and then maybe he will think "crap(but he would never let me hear him say crap) my mom likes it?!!? I don't like this as much as what I thought" and his pretty blonde hair will grow back to a reasonable length (ie: I can't see his scalp!!) And all would be right in my world **sigh** again, and he wouldn't look so much older!

Its just not easy bein' a mama...

Nikon D90!!

WooHOO I just ordered a Nikon D90, and it will be here Wednesday. So I will be able to take it with me  when we leave to go to Branson! The lens it comes with is the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom Lens. Which it will do for now. I just hope I can get down the basics on the baby before we leave, so I can come home with some kickin’ photos!! This will be my first SLR camera! I love photos! And taking them! My camera I was using is a Fugi Finepix, it is just below a SLR. I found the user manual online for the Nikon D90, so I’m going to do some reading before the camera gets here. Man I won’t be sleeping till after the camera gets here!! Then I won’t be sleeping cause we will be leaving to go to Branson soon after!! What a dilemma;)

In case anybody other than myself is reading this (**crickets**) it is COLD out people!!   Winter has arrived!! (twilight zone music plays)

One of the funniest movies of all time!!  If its cold out I think of this   movie!!  Church tonight, not sure if we are going caroling tonight or if its next week!! If its tonight, let me just say we are going to need a Sams CLub size tissue box out there!! It is NOT gona be a pretty picture!! LOL  Anyway on to other things, since I have totally grossed you out, and you know now that I have bad taste in movies!!

Finished finals today!! WOOHOO..hmm now what do I do with my self??  Tis the season to eat junk food right?  About time to dig out the Christmas recipes…and make my pants shrink!!
